“It is deeply concerning that a nation battling internal disorder, economic crisis, and radical elements continues to hold nuclear weapons. Such a scenario poses a threat not only to South Asia but to the entire world,” the minister stated.

He reiterated that Pakistan’s nuclear facilities must remain under strict and uninterrupted monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to him, global security agencies and watchdogs should enhance scrutiny to ensure there is no diversion or misuse of nuclear materials or technology.
